Kenneth David Allen Jr. departed this world on Monday, April 16, 2007. He was born August 22, 1960 and resided in Richmond, Va. He served in the U. S. Navy and worked in the construction trade until his death. He is survived by his sister, Jackie Robertson of Yukon, Okla.; his children, Jennifer Allen, Joseph Allen Sr. and Justin Kelley; grandchildren, Gavin and Joseph Jr. ; longtime loving companion and best friend, Shirley Squires; and his forever faithful canine companion, Jeb. Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at Jones Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland, Va. Any donations or condolences may be sent in care of Dunkum Funeral Home in Dillwyn, Va.
