My mom Ibelisie "Eve" Andrews was born 59 years ago in Puerto Rico. She was an amazing soul. She loved everybody and everybody loved her. She had 6 children and 10 grandchildren. She was a foster parent to many and treated them as if they were her own. She loved to dance, sing, worship the Lord and she loved being where the action's at.She lived in Frisco City Alabama with her husband Willie Andrews and two children Martha and Julie Andrews. She attended McCullough Christian Center where she was loved dearly. She took great joy in being in the company of children and often volunteered at her children's school. She loved to cook Spanish food and dance to Spanish music. She had her own style which was very unique. In the dawn of 2003 she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her diagnosis did not keep her from attending her grandson's high school graduation, her nieces wedding in Italy or from visiting her beloved Puerto Rico. She fought her battle with determination and a smile.Anyone who witnessed this learned many lessons about the human spirit, determination, and the power of faith and love. Her battle ended on March 9th 2007 where she passed peacefully with a smile on her face surrounded by her loved ones. DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP BY:MARY FRYE DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP, I AM NOT THERE, I DO NOT SLEEP. I AM A THOUSAND WINDS THAT BLOW. I AM THE DIAMOND GLINT ON THE SNOW. I AM THE SUNLIGHT ON RIPENED GRAIN. I AM THE GENTLE AUTUMN RAIN. WHEN YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING HUSH, I AM THE SWIFT, UPLIFTING RUSH OF QUIET BIRDS IN CIRCLING FLIGHT. I AM THE SOFT STARLIGHT AT NIGHT. DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP. I AM NOT THERE, I DO NOT SLEEP. (DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND CRY. I AM NOT THERE, I DID NOT DIE!) DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP. I AM NOT THERE, I DO NOT SLEEP. I AM THE SONG THAT WILL NEVER END. I AM THE LOVE OF FAMILY AND FRIEND. I AM THE CHILD WHO HAS COME TO REST IN THE ARMS OF THE FATHER WHO KNOWS HIM BEST. WHEN YOU SEE THE SUNSET FAIR, I AM THE SCENTED EVENING AIR. I AM THE JOY OF A TASK WELL DONE. I AM THE GLOW OF THE SETTING SUN. DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP. I AM NOT THERE, I DO NOT SLEEP. (DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND CRY. I AM NOT THERE, I DID NOT DIE!)
